'12 Years a Slave' Leads Washington DC Critics Awards

Steve McQueen’s “12 Years a Slave” led the winners of the Washington D.C. Area Film Critics Association. The film took prizes for best film, best actor, best supporting actress, best adapted screenplay, best acting ensemble and best music score.  McQueen didn’t take best director, however, as that prize went to Alfonso Cuarón.
