With a fresh series order, and production now underway, FX isn’t wasting a moment in getting the buzz building for Guillermo Del Toro‘s “The Strain.” And while it doesn’t feature any cast members, this first teaser for the show is still pretty damn creepy.
Based on the book by Del Toro and Chuck Hogan, the show will tell the tale of Dr. Ephraim Goodweather (Corey Stoll), the head of the Center for Disease Control, who puts together a team to help save humanity when a strain of vampirism breaks out. And as this teaser shows, when rats start showing up everywhere, it’s generally not a good thing. And yeah, we’d probably freak out too.
The thirteen-episode first season of “The Strain” will start airing next July. Watch below. [Collider]
