1. Top Indies in iTunes: J.C. Chandor’s “All is Lost” hit the iTunes store and is now the #1 top independent film. See the rest of the list here.

2. Troma: Fans of “Toxic Avenger,” “Tromeo and Juliet” and other Troma Entertainment classics, rejoice! Screen Media Ventures, LLC have added 40 Troma Entertainment films to its free streaming library so you can watch them on its ad-supported platforms such as Popcornflix, FrightPIX and Popcornflix Comedy — via the web, Roku, Xbox or iOS and Android apps. 

3. Upstream Color: We’ve been reporting about every distribution deal out of Sundance 2014, but one thing we haven’t heard much about (yet) are filmmakers following the path of Shane Carruth, who chose to self-distribute “Upstream Color” out of Sundance 2013.
