The Arthouse Convergence
held its 8th meeting in Midway, Utah just before the Sundance Film Festival. With 400+ attendees, most of whom are arthouse theater exhibitors plus the distributors who place their films in their theaters, this event was larger than ever. The Art House Convergence
conference is an educational program organized by the Art House Convergence. At this important annual conference, delegates enjoy inspirational speakers, informative sessions and panel discussions that provide productive tips about programming, marketing, fundraising, technology and industry trends to help improve the quality and effectiveness of community-based, mission-driven art house cinemas.
When John Cooper first convened 25 people to discuss issues of arthouse film distribution, it was a collegial event among friends, and it has kept the open sharing collegial spirit as it has expanded its program. At this important annual conference, delegates enjoy inspirational speakers, informative sessions and panel discussions that provide productivity.
