The Berlin International Film Festival has now completed its 2014 competition film lineup, with 18 world premieres and three feature debuts as part of the program. As with the upcoming Sundance, Berlin has added Richard Linklater’s 12-years-in-the-making “Boyhood,” starring Ethan Hawke and Patricia Arquette, to its final lineup. Christophe Gans’ “Beauty and the Beast,” starring Vincent Cassel and Lea Seydoux, has also been added.
