Starz Digital Acquires Rights to Clark Gregg's 'Trust Me'

Trust Me,” a comedy that premiered earlier last year at the Tribeca Film Festival, has just been acquired by Starz Digital Media, the digital distribution subdivision of Starz.

Director Clark Gregg, of “The Avengers” and “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” fame, also stars in the film about a Hollywood agent who finally has a chance at notoriety after discovering a 13-year old child prodigy. Starz Digital Media’s releases include “Free Samples” starring Jess Weixler, Jason Ritter and Jesse Eisenberg and “Shanghai Calling” with Daniel Henney, Eliza Coupe and Bill Paxton and another Tribeca gem, the upcoming documentary about rock band The National called “Mistaken For Strangers.”

Trust Me” stars Sam Rockwell, Amanda Peet, Allison Janney, William H. Macy and Felicity Hoffman. Starz will release the film on digital and VOD in May, a month before its theatrical release.
