Trailer for the Live Action Version of Miyazaki's "Kiki's Delivery Service"

Here’s the second full trailer for the live-action Kiki’s Delivery Service and also shows the first footage of Kiki’s cat Jiji. 

The story of a young witch, who uses her flying broom to start a delivery business, Hayao Miyazaki directed an animated adaptation of the story in 1989 – It is based on the 1985 novel of the same name by Eiko Kadono. Disney released an English language version in 1998. The look of the new live-action film is heavily influenced by Miyazaki’s designs and storytelling. 

Directed by Takashi Shimizu, “Kiki” is portrayed by actress Shoshiba Fuka; Kotobuki Minako is the voice of Kiki’s  black cat, Jiji. The film will open in Japan on March 1.
