While NBC is consumed with the Olympics, the network’s been releasing short digital episodes for “Chicago Fire,” “Parks and Recreation,” “Grimm” and “Parenthood” to gives viewers of those shows a little something as they’re off the air. “Chicago Fire” has the Monica Raymond-centric saga “I Am a Firefighter,” “Grimm” has “Love is in the Air,” featuring Bree Turner and Bitsie Tulloch and some trouble at a spa party and premiering on February 14th. Also upcoming on the 20th is “The Hapley Group,” a short “Parks and Rec” web series focused on Jay Jackson’s newscaster character Perd Hapley. But the online exclusive that’s getting the most attention is “Friday Night at the Luncheonette,” a “Parenthood” spinoff that’s also a crossover with showrunner Jason Katims’ past show “Friday Night Lights.”

The four-episode web series find Jesse Plemons and Derek Phillips reprising their roles as Landry Clarke and Billy Riggins as the characters’ Christian metal Crucifictorious comes to record at the “Parenthood” Luncheonette where Amber (Mae Whitman) is watching Max (Max Burkholder).
