Back in 2012 when “The Amazing Spider-Man” was gearing up to hit theaters, the extent of Sony‘s marketing plan was revealed when someone went through all the trailers and clips that dropped in advance of the film, and put together a 25-minute reel of footage. So at this point, our only question is by which factor the advance spill of material for “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” will exceed its predecessor.
Another day brings yet another trailer for “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” with the entire campaign coming off less exciting, and a bit more desperate. Sony really, really want you to see this sequel and they’ve provided another lengthy preview of their super sequel focusing on Jamie Foxx‘s baddie Electro. So yes, there is more new footage, more scenes from the Times Square setpiece, more dubstep, more stuff about secrets and more Spidey flying around. How many more trailers will there be before this thing arrives in theaters? We’re taking bets.
