I just had a look at this new anime-styled Marvel animation DVD/bluray release, Avengers Confidential: Black Widow And Punisher – and it’s pretty damn good. Actually the animation is more than “anime-styled” – it IS anime, produced by Madhouse in Tokyo, partnered with Marvel Entertainment and Sony Pictures Entertainment Japan. The film was released in the US today on Blu-ray, DVD and digital – here’s a peek:
