EXCLUSIVE: Clip from SXSW World Premiere Doc 'Above All Else,' on Fighting the Keystone XL Oil Pipeline

TOH! has scored an exclusive clip from SXSW world premiere doc “Above All Else,” following one David Daniel as he attempts to rally neighbors and environmental activists alike to build a tree-top blockade of the Keystone XL oil pipeline. Watch below, plus trailer.

The film is helmed by John Fiege, who previously made doc “Mississippi Chicken,” as well as lensing the 2014 Sundance selection “No No: A Dockumentary.” Daryl Hannah serves as an executive producer.

“Above All Else” has its premiere at the Austin fest on March 10. Here’s the official synopsis:

One man will risk it all to stop the tar sands of the Keystone XL oil pipeline from crossing his land. Shot in the forests, pastures, and living rooms of rural East Texas, Above All Else follows David Daniel as he rallies neighbors and environmental activists to join him in a final act of brinkmanship: a tree-top blockade of the controversial pipeline. What begins as a stand against corporate bullying becomes a rallying cry for climate protesters nationwide.
