Hot Docs has announced the 19 projects that will be pitched during this year’s Hot Docs Forum, a major North American market for the international documentary community.
The Forum will take place the mornings of April 30 and May 1, during the 2014 edition of Hot Docs, which runs April 24 to May 4. This year’s projects represent 13 different countries and were selected from 128 submissions.

In addition to the Forum, Hot Docs’ market program includes Deal Maker
meetings, Distribution Rendezvous meetings, and Close-Up With… round
tables, all of which provide opportunities to connect with broadcast
financiers, funders and buyers.
The 2014 Hot Docs Forum Selection Commitee included Vesna Cudic, Dogwoof (UK), Kristen Fitzpatrick, Women Make Movies (USA) and Indiewire’s own Eric Kohn (USA).
