Let the speculation begin. AMC has unsheathed the tantalizing first poster for the final season of “Mad Men,” set to premiere on April 13 — and it’s a visual bacchanalia indeed!
Given the psychedelic swirl of colors, and the fact that in this first half of the seventh season we’re in the ’70s now, are drugs and drink still afoot for our man Don Draper? Of course they are! Recall last season that America’s favorite morally bankrupt ad exec was shut out of Sterling Cooper & Partners, quite literally leaving our gal Peggy Olson lovelorn and in the hot-seat. Don’s disenchanted wife Megan jettisoned to California to pursue her fledgling acting career, and a few of our SC&P friends also went west.
