In Lawrence Michael Levine’s “Wild Canaries,” Barri (Sophie Takal) and Noah (Levine), a newly engaged Brooklyn couple, are bummed about the death of their elderly downstairs neighbor, Sylvia. Barri suspects foul play and sets out to investigate, enlisting her roommate Jean (Alia Shawkat) to join her on a reconnaissance mission to trail a possible suspect. Watch an enticing scene below.
