It’s not easy to convince late-night talk show host Stephen Colbert that America may have made a mistake, but Oscar-winning documentary filmmaker Errol Morris (“The Fog of War,” “The Thin Blue Line”) sure gives it a try with his latest film “The Unknown Known.” The film, set to come out in theaters and on VOD on April 4, details Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld’s role in the Iraq War and exactly how much he — or anybody else — actually knows about it. Morris stopped by “The Colbert Report” to talk… or not talk… about the doc.
Previewing a clip from the movie in which Rumsfeld confesses some of his faults in the war proceedings and the torture that was said to take place, Colbert pinpoints the apparent liberal bias of Morris who chose an interesting style of music to accompany Rumsfeld’s testimony.
