Sony is off to a flying start with their faith based title, “Heaven Is For Real”. The film received an “A” Cinemascore (“A+” from audiences 35 and older) and grossed $3.7 million in its opening Wednesday, setting itself up for a very solid five day weekend figure of somewhere in the mid 20’s (my prediction on Monday was $26 million). The film will benefit from a weekend bookended by Good Friday and Easter Sunday, always big movie days to begin with, especially so with a faith based film like “Heaven”.
