Project of the Day: ‘I Want It, Bad’

Project of the Day: 'I Want It, Bad'

Here’s your daily dose of an indie film in progress; at the end of the week, you’ll have the chance to vote for your favorite.

In the meantime: Is this a movie you’d want to see? Tell us in the comments.

“I Want It, Bad”

Tweetable Logline: A dozen high school students. Two identity thieves. A sheriff. A monster. A small town in the woods. I Want It, Bad. #wantbad

Elevator Pitch: What happens when two identity thieves target some small town teenagers? Break ups, Barn parties, People covered in blood and a Monster in the woods. If that’s not crazy enough, the world’s saddest sheriff has to solve the mystery with his brilliant wife and their goofy sidekick.
“I Want it, Bad” in the simplest way is how humans relate to each other. It’s a horror film that packages an important message in an exciting story. It’s at times goofy and at times sexy but fundamentally it’s a movie teaching young people how to relate during difficult circumstances.

Production Team:

About the Production: This film has been making itself from the beginning. So many people have come together to act, shoot, produce, edit and support this film. People have enthusiastically donated time/energy/talent/wardrobe/art/transportation/everything. The team has worked tirelessly to find perfect locations and make incredible props. The actors have done their own stunts and the camera people brave all kinds of ridiculous weather and conditions to get the perfect shot. We have consistently had a great team make this film from pre-production all the way into post-production.

Current Status: Fundraising to finish principal photography
