Most estimates this week had the big green guy coming in at around $65 but Box Office Insider thought moviegoers would go gaga for “Godzilla” and if last night is any indication then our prediction on Monday of $74 million for the three days is right on (or even low!) as the film totaled a staggering $9.3 million last night. In comparison, “Captain America: Winter Soldier” had a Thursday of $10.2 million on its way to a $96 million weekend.
