Warners Adjusts "Midnight Special" and "Live By Night" Release Dates

We will have to sit tight a little longer for director Ben Affleck’s follow up to “Argo” as, due to his other Warners commitments (as in donning the Batsuit) the company has decided to move his adaptation of Dennis Lehane’s novel “Live By Night” back to October 7, 2016.  It was scheduled to be released late 2015.

In related news, “Mud” director Jeff Nichols’ new film, “Midnight Special”, has secured a November 25, 2015 release slot, which is five day after “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2”.  “Midnight Special” is not a biopic on the old Wolfman Jack late night concert TV show, but rather a sci-fi adventure with Adam Driver, Joel Edgerton and Kirsten Dunst.
