Guillermo Del Toro’s television debut is growing ever closer. FX has Sunday, July 13th on the books for the premiere of “The Strain,” which has just been given two new posters. Another FX series, “Fargo” has also received new art just as the 10-episode miniseries comes to a close.

In Del Toro’s series, which he co-created with Chuck Hogan, a rapidly spreading virus resembling ancient vampirism threatens humanity and pits the regular people of New York City against the infected. Corey Stoll (“House of Cards”) stars in the series also featuring the acting talents of Kevin Durand and David Bradley. The posters are given a splash of red acting on a solid black field, demonstrating the hellish nature of the show and revealing a thing or two about the strain itself.

“Fargo” has two episodes left in its debut season, which has consistently drawn nearly 2 million viewers each week. Based on the themes and setting of the 1996 Coen Brothers film, “Fargo” is an independent true crime story with some unique characters and its own stirring plot. This poster is also accented in red, with alarming bloody snow and break lights cast in a natural looking field of cool colors.

The next episode of “Fargo” is titled “A Fox, A Rabbit, and a Cabbage” and will air on FX June 10th, with the finale June 17th. Check out the posters below:
