Watch: Shailene Woodley Makes Out to Depeche Mode in a Clip from Gregg Araki's Risqué 'White Bird In A Blizzard'

Chances are you haven’t seen Shailene Woodley in a role like this. The “Fault In Our Stars” actress goes indie once again for her latest drama, “White Bird In A Blizzard.” And this time around we can assure you that she’s not playing things conservative or shy.

The film, directed by the always-bold Gregg Araki (“Kaboom,” “Mysterious Skin”), stars Woodley as a teenage girl in the 1980s whose emotionally volatile mother (Eva Green) goes missing. Shiloh Fernandez, Christopher Meloni and Gabourey Sidibie also star.
In this clip, we get a steamy look at Woodley and her on-screen love interest: They’re shown making out in school, at a club, in a swimming pool. Oh, and a song by New Wave gods Depeche Mode plays in the background. It’s a mesmerizing first look at what’s sure to be another dark tale for Araki to add to his repertoire.

Magnolia Pictures will release “White Bird In A Blizzard” On Demand on September 25 and in theaters October 24.
