Before there was “House of Cards” or “Orange is the New Black,” Netflix released a two-season series in 2010 called “Example Show.” What began as a series of test videos for new filmmaking formats became a small phenomenon.
“Example Show,” which Netflix describes as “An example of a show” starring Actress and Actor, features a couple of bizarre scenes including a long shot of a fountain, a man juggling and a “Julius Caesar” monologue.
Netflix viewers, clearly entertained by what was supposed to be nothing, even started reviewing “Example Show.” One reviewer remarked, “I loved Example Show! Test makes an amazing appearance — should be nominated for an Oscar!”
