Horror Flick 'Inner Demons' Possessed by IFC Midnight

Seth Grossman, director of “The Elephant King” and “50k and a Call Girl,” brought his newest project to the Los Angeles Film Festival this June, and now the supernatural thriller has been picked up for distribution of IFC Midnight. The film, “Inner Demons,” stars Lara Vosburgh, Morgan McClellan, Colleen McGrann, Kate Whitney and Brian Flaherty, with cinematography by Chapin Hall, editing by Jeff Seibenick, and music by Adam Balazs.

Staged as an interventionist-style reality show that seeks to film a girl battling addiction, “Inner Demons” quickly teases that something more sinister is going on; that the girl is possessed by a demon. Playing with our pop culture loves for a good scare and for reality TV, IFC Midnight is confident in “Inner Demons”‘s staying power.

The deal for the film was negotiated by Arianna Bocco, Senior Vice President of Acquisitions & Productions and Sean Berney, Manager of Acquisitions for Sundance Selects/IFC Films with Josh Braun of Submarine and Linda Lichter on behalf of the filmmakers.
