One of this year’s most anticipated films is the Benedict Cumberbatch-starring "The Imitation Game," a drama based on the real life experiences of genius mathematician Alan Turing who helped crack super-secret Nazi codes.
Turing, undoubtedly a British hero, was eventually prosecuted by the courts for being a homosexual. The trailer, however, focuses on his earlier life, particularly the dissent he faced while putting together a team for his Nazi-stopping project. Directed by Norwegian Morten Tyldum ("Headhunters"), "The Imitation Game" also stars Keira Knightley, Matthew Goode and Mark Strong.
"The Imitation Game" is scheduled for an awards-friendly November 21st release. The Weinstein Company is handling distribution.
