Watch: 'Game of Thrones' Season 5 Adds Oscar-Nominee Keisha Castle-Hughes, More Cast Members Via Video

Perhaps there was nothing that could be done by the “Game of Thrones” panelists to reward the commitment of fans who slept overnight to attend the discussion in Hall H, but they sure tried. HBO not only brought out basically the entire cast (other than the sadly absent Peter Dinklage) along with novelist George R.R. Martin and showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, but the cult smash also introduced the new characters ready to join the cast in Season 5, which we already know is headed to Dorne.

Leading the way is Oscar-nominee Keisha Castle-Hughes, who will play Obara Sand, and Jonathan Pryce (“Brazil”), who will play High Sparrow. Both actors introduced themselves via pre-recorded videos, as did the following, lesser known thespians who also landed coveted roles for the upcoming season: Alexander Siddig as Doran Martell; Toby Sebastian as Trystane Martell; Nell Tiger Free has taken over the role of Myrcella Baratheon (a character previously played by Aimee Richardson); Deobia Oparei as Areo Hotah; Enzo Cilenti as Yezzan; Jessica Henwick as Nymeria “Nym” Sand; and Rosabell Laurenti Sellers as Tyene Sand.

Castle-Hughes will play the eldest, bastard daughter of Prince Oberyn Martell. Her mother was a peasant, and you better believe she’s got a chip on her shoulder after the events of Season 4. Pryce’s High Sparrow is a pious man who arrives in King’s Landing to help the poor and discouraged. He quickly establishes a large following of kind-hearted souls, a welcome addition to a city and story of constant backstabbing.

Check out the video introductions for yourself below, and experience from your own living room exactly what everyone in Hall H waited all night to see.
