Go See 'it's pronounced hedVig,' a Photo Exhibit Featuring Characters From 'Hedwig and the Angry Inch'

There’s a pretty spectacular photography exhibit that has been happening at Artsee in New York all summer, and if you missed it — you have a second chance: It’s been extended through Labor Day.

"it’s pronounced hedVig" is a collection of photographs being exhibited for the first time that were shot by film executive Mark Tusk, who doubled as executive producer of John Cameron Mitchell’s 2001 film "Hedwig and the Angry Inch." Included in the exhibition are images at the Jane Street Theater (where the original Off-Broadway production of the film ran in 1998), at Sundance (where the film version premiered in 2001), and various behind the scenes takes from the productions.

More info here, but seriously: what better way to end off your summer?
