The first feature by Riley Stearns, “Faults” features Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Claire, a young woman immersed in a mysterious cult known as Faults. Desperate to get her back, her parents hire cult expert Ansel Roth (Leland Orser) to kidnap her.

“Riley’s debut film is an incredibly strong one – we were blown away with his vision and execution after seeing it at SXSW,” said Seth Needle, Director Acquisitions & Marketing at Screen Media. “To create such incredible characters, environment and unnerving tone in his first film is truly impressive.”

Screen Media plans to release the film nationwide March 6, which will be accompanied by VOD platform release.
