Watch: Full Pilot for Fox's 'Red Band Society' Available Online For 100 Hours

Before the Steven Spielberg-produced “Red Band Society” makes its television premiere on Wednesday, September 17, Fox is giving fans a first look by making the entire pilot available online via Hulu and its various Fox on demand platforms.

Starring Academy Award-winning actress Octavia Spencer in her first lead role on television, the dark comedy-drama focuses on the relationship between a group of nurses and their teenager patients in the pediatric ward of Los Angeles’ Ocean Park Hospital. The hospital setting and Spencer’s knack for drama mean you’ll probably want to get your tissues ready before streaming the pilot episode. The Fox drama also stars Dave Annable (“Brothers & Sisters,” “666 Park Avenue”) and a slew of young actors, including Griffin Gluck, Zoe Levin and Ciara Bravo.

“Red Band Society” joins NBC’s “A to Z” and ABC’s “Selfie” as the third fall television show to arrive online early. The pilot episode was made available thanks to fans who shared the show’s content on social media and donated more than $100,000  to various child medical charities across the United States. The full pilot will be available to stream until Tuesday, August 26 at 5pm ET (100 hours after it first debuted).
