“Alien Rising,” directed by Dana Schroeder, stars Lance Henriksen (“The Terminator”), Brian Krause (“Charmed”) and John Savage (“The Deer Hunter”). The film tells the story of a former homeland security agent and his uncovering of extraterrestrial technologies hidden on a remote island. Sergio Tovar Velarde’s “Four Moons” or “Cuatro Lunas” is a Mexican comedy-drama centered around the story of four LGBT individuals of different generations and their personal journeys toward self-acceptance and love.

Director/writer Deborah Twiss’ “A Cry From Within” is based on Twiss’ real-life experience moving with her family from New York City, and discovering a spirit haunting the family’s new home on Long Island. Featuring Eric Roberts (“Runaway Train”), Cathy Moriarty (“Raging Bull”) and Robert Vaughn (“The Magnificent Seven”), the film will see a limited release in theaters this winter.

“We always license many titles at TIFF and they always do well for our company. Toronto is such an amazing city and it is so conducive to deal making,” said Rich Wolff, CEO of Breaking Glass Pictures, in a statement.
