'Dear White People' Takes On Black Stereotypes In Series of PSAs

The team behind “Dear White People,” a satirical film on the relations between black students and the rest of their mostly white, Ivy-league college, has been releasing “Did You Know” announcements which comedically tackle common stereotypes in the black community, including fried chicken, unique names and the big “is it really bigger?” question.

Directed by Justin Simien, the film stars Tyler James Williams, Tessa Thompson, Teyonah Parris, Brandon P. Bell, Kyle Gallner, Malcolm Barrett, Brittany Curran, Marque Richardson and Dennis Haysbert. “Dear White People” wil hit select cities Ocotber 17 and see a nationwide release on October 24.
