TWC-Dimension Acquires 'The Bye Bye Man': The Next Great Movie Monster?

TWC-Dimension has announced the acquisition of Intrepid Pictures’ supernatural thriller/horror “The Bye Bye Man.”

An adaptation of a short story called “The Bridge to Body Island,” by Robert Damon Schneck, the story centers on three Wisconsin college students who come up against the sinister titular “Bye Bye Man.” Aside from this, the plot details (including the log line) are currently under wraps.

Jonathan Penner (“Let The Devil Wear Black”) will be the screenwriter for the project. Stacy Title (“The Last Supper,” “Hood of Horror,” “Down On The Waterfront”) will direct.

“There are only a few truly scary and iconic characters within this genre and we think the Bye Bye Man has the potential to be the next one.  Trevor and Stacy will be great partners in bringing this fantastic and terrifying script to the screen,” said Matthew Signer, EVP of Production and Creative Affairs for TWC-Dimension.
