The latest ambitious science fiction film from the directors of "The Matrix" and two-thirds of "Cloud Atlas" was originally slated for a summer 2014—but Warner Bros. pushed "Jupiter Ascending" back for artistic reasons, officially. But other worries were afoot. (More on that here.)
Kunis plays Jupiter Jones, who dreams of the stars while living a cold reality as a housekeeper until a genetically engineered former bounty hunter (Tatum) arrives on Earth to deliver her cosmos-altering fate. The otherworldly epic is one of the most anticipated films of 2015 — so much so that this week at Fantastic Fest, audiences predicted "Jupiter" as the fest’s secret screening. No dice, alas.
