Sony Pictures Classics has released the debut trailer for Gabe Polsky’s sports documentaryRed Army,” which earned critical acclaim at festival screenings in Cannes and Toronto. Focusing on the Soviet Union’s Red Army hockey team via the extraordinary human story of team captain Slava Fetisov, the documentary is as much a sports film as it is a stirring look into the political and socioeconomic atmosphere of Cold War Russia.
