'How to Get Away With Murder' and 'Black-ish' Get Full Season Orders From ABC

This just in… After a couple of episodes of each new series, ABC has given full-season orders to both "How to Get Away With Murder" and "Black-ish."

"How to Get Away With Murder" gets 15 episodes (not the typical 22, in part because the star of the show – Viola Davis – has some movie shoot commitments scheduled which will take her away from her TV show).

Meanwhile, "Black-ish" will get the standard 22 episodes.

"Murder," created by Pete Nowalk and produced by Shonda Rhimes’ Shondaland, opened its season with an impressive 14 million total viewers, while "Blackish," from Kenya Barris, debuted with 10.8 million total viewers.
