Tory Kittles has booked a series regular role on USA Network’s drama/thriller pilot “The Colony,” from writers and executive producers Carlton Cuse and Ryan Condal, which centers on a Los Angeles that’s been forced to make difficult choices as they balance staying together with surviving an *alien* threat to the human race. Some collaborate with the authorities and benefit from the new order, while others rebel and suffer the consequences.
Kittles will play a character named Broussard, who’s described as a strong but kind man with a hidden past, living a double life.
The pilot will be directed by Juan José Campanella.
Kittles, an actor who maybe doesn’t get as much pub as others of his generation, but who seems to work consistently in film and TV, was most recently seen in the BBC America thriller series “The Intruders,” which I did watch, and enjoyed – although the ending was anticlimactic. He was also a regular in the first season of HBO’s “True Detective.”
