Watch: 'Dear White People' Red Band Trailer Isn't Afraid to Get Offensive

The upcoming comedy "Dear White People" isn’t afraid to say those nasty, offensive words, as we can see from this new red band trailer.

In the film, Samantha White (Tessa Thompson), the snarky head of an all black residence hall, schools fellow students via her provocative, racially-charged radio show. When her nemesis plans an ill informed bash called "East West Hip Hop Party," it proves epic in its polarization of Winchester University students. 

"Dear White People" was a hit at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival and opens October 17. Take a look at the red band trailer below:
