Indie crime thriller “The Lookalike,” starring Gillian Jacobs, Justin Long, John Corbett and Jerry O’Connell, follows the story of two mobsters who recruit an aspiring actress to impersonate a top drug dealer’s crush, Sadie, who has recently died. What ensues is a maze-like film where no one can be sure who is playing who. Jacobs plays Lacey, the lookalike who is more concerned with getting into character than the possible threat on her life. Justin Long plays Jacob’s drug addicted love interest (we’re just glad to see him out of his tusks) — he also serves as producer along with director Richard Gray. The film comes to theaters November 7.
In one of the exclusive clips below, Lacey debates whether or not she can go through with having sex with the drug dealer, while Long protests in typical jealous boyfriend fashion. It’s all part of the job, we suppose? In the other, John Corbett is almost unrecognizable and has some strange tics. Check it out:
