Jennifer Kent’s Australian Horror film, "The Babadook" will be coming to a small screen just in time for Halloween. The film will be released on DIRECTV on October 30 with a theatrical release on November 28 from IFC Midnight, so if your Halloween plans usually consist of sitting in the dark watching a creepy movie and ignoring trick-or-treaters ringing your doorbell, you may want to check this one out.
The film follows the story of a widow and her son with a behavioral disorder. When the son finds a mysterious book entitled "Mister Babadook," he invites an evil spirit into their home and horrific chaos ensures.
