Keane, a Disney Veteran, is responsible
for some of our favorite characters including Ariel, Pocahontas, Tarzan,
Aladdin, and Rapunzel, just to name a few. His short piece combines new and
innovative ways to tell a remarkable and touching story. “‘Duet’
employs a multi-layered approach that could best be described as a double helix
in which the characters’ story arcs literally spiral around one another
It focuses on two Characters, Mia and
Tosh and Tosh’s dog, who always seem to find their way back to one another.

The innovative technical engineers at
ATAP led by Rachid El Guerrab, along with producer Gennie Rim and
Production Designer Max Keane, transformed the drawings from Glen Keane in
revolutionary and refreshing works, that challenge to normality of the
animation world. For us it was like watching a short Disney film that had a new
flare and passion with each scene.

The first two pieces of the Spotlight
Stories series, Windy
and Buggy Night,
have done well too with a combined total of almost 70,000 YouTube views, while
Duet is on its way to a million. We can not wait to see what the innovative
minds at Google ATAP, and these amazing animators will come up with next.
If you haven’t seen the three pieces yet, go do it NOW! They represent a new path for animation – and an
enjoyable experience you will want to view over and over again.
