Watch: 'Pay 2 Play' Documentary Argues That Monopoly Made Us All Felons

What do American politics and Monopoly have in common?

According to the documentary “Pay 2 Play: Democracy’s High Stakes,” the game of Monopoly is actually a microcosm of the “pay to play” American political system.

Following the example of Alex Gibney’s “Casino Jack and the United States of Money” and “Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room,” “Pay 2 Play: Democracy’s High Stakes” examines the role of money in politics. Interviews include former lobbyist Jack Abramoff, MIT professor Noam Chomsky and former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich.

“Pay 2 Play: Democracy’s High Stakes” is currently available on VOD and will be released on DVD next month on on December 2. Check out the first seven minutes of the film below.
