Berlin just got a little hotter this winter.
The 65th Annual Berlin International Film Festival has snagged the international premiere of Universal Pictures’ and Focus Features’ hotly-anticipated release, “Fifty Shades of Grey.” Adapted from the novel by E.L. James, the film will make its international debut February 11 as a Berlinale Special Gala entry.
James, director Sam Taylor-Johnson, Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson are all scheduled to be in attendance for the festival’s one-time only screening.
“Fifty Shades of Grey” is scheduled to open stateside on February 13, aiming to snag a big opening weekend with the Valentine’s Day crowd.
