Podcasting With Doug Benson

Podcasting With Doug Benson

People stop me
all the time to say they enjoy hearing me on Doug Loves Movies. It makes me realize how much I owe Doug Benson,
not only for using my Movie Guide to create The Leonard Maltin Game, but for
allowing me to appear on his popular podcast—even though I am terrible at
playing the game! Still, I have fun every time I appear on the show, in front
of an enthusiastic crowd at the UCB Theater in Los Angeles. It was a kick to
record this past week’s episode with the quick-witted Milana Vayntrub (whom you may recognize from her ubiquitous AT&T commercials) and my
new buddy Baron Vaughn. You can listen on iTunes or simply click HERE.

I’m especially
grateful to Doug for leading me into the world of podcasting, where I now
occupy a weekly spot of my own on the Wolfpop network. Maltin on Movies with Baron Vaughn seems to be off to a great
start, judging by the response we’ve gotten and our ratings on iTunes. Our
current episode explores breakthrough performances, inspired by Jennifer
Lawrence’s meteoric film career that began with Winter’s Bone and has led her to The Hunger Games. I won’t reveal our other choices this week;
you’ll just have to listen to hear what Baron and I talk about. Click HERE and

And there will be another new episode
posting Wednesday morning.
