Today, Sundance revealed the films playing in the Premieres, Documentary Premieres, Special Events and “Power of Story” Panels lineup.
Notable titles in the U.S. premieres section include Joe Swanberg’s “Digging for Fire,” his third collaboration with Anna Kendrick, and Noah Baumbach’s “Mistress America,” which finds the director re-teaming with Greta Gerwig for the first time since “Frances Ha.” In the documentary premieres, Alex Gibney’s “Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief” will premiere just a matter of weeks after its existence was made public; in the same category, Kirby Dick’s “The Hunting Ground” explores the outbreak of sexual assault cases on college campuses.
