The media’s coverage of the controversial Sony hack has been met with a wide range of responses over the past two weeks, mainly whether or not journalists should be continuing to promote the issue by writing about the specifics of released emails (ex. Scott Rudin’s comments on Angelina Jolie, movie plans for franchises such as “21 Jump Street” and “Spider-Man,” etc.). Is it ethical reporting or just click-bait?
Luckily, the “Late Show with David Letterman” was able to tackle the issue without getting into the nitty gritty details last night during a thoughtfully comedic edition of the show’s Top 10 List. From “Amy Adams and Jessica Chastain: same person” to “Ralph Fiennes Has No Idea How To Pronounce ‘Ralph Fiennes,'” here are all of Letterman’s Top 10 revelations from the Sony hack.
