Watch: What Happens When a Film Shoots in Your Home

To make New York’s Rockaway Beach looks like the New Jersey Shore, production designer Jane Musky has to make some tweaks. Musky, who has worked on films such as “Ghost,” “When Harry Met Sally” and “Raising Arizona,” is the subject of the latest Academy Originals video examining the work of production and set design. 

In the video, Musky offers a look at her latest project, the film “Freeheld,” which stars Julianne Moore, Steve Carell and Ellen Page and is set for a 2015 release. As Musky points out, when a film shoots in your home or apartment, everything you own goes out, and their choices come in.

“You get better at the reshuffle as you get older, because you have more tricks up your sleeve,” says Musky in the video. Check it out below:
