2015 Golden Globe Predictions: Best Original Score

2015 Golden Globe Predictions: Best Original Score

Indiewire’s Awards Editor Peter Knegt and TV Critic Ben Travers will
provide regular updates on the Golden Globe races leading up to the
ceremony on January 11, 2015.

Will the Globes show the Oscars how to do the right thing and give this to Antonio Sanchez, who was disqualified from the Oscars for his “Birdman”? Maybe. But they’re just as likely to give it to Alexandre Desplat or Johann Johannsson for “The Imitation Game” or “The Theory of Everything,” respectively.

The Nominees:
Alexandre Desplat – “The Imitation Game”
Jóhann Jóhannsson – “The Theory of Everything”
Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross – “Gone Girl”
Antonio Sánchez – “Birdman”
Hans Zimmer – “Interstellar

Will Win: Alexandre Desplat – “The Imitation Game”
Could Win: Antonio Sánchez – “Birdman”
Should Win: Antonio Sánchez – “Birdman”
Shoulda Been Here: Mica Levi – “Under The Skin”
