The inaugural ScreenCraft Short Script competition seeks fresh talent in short film screenwriting. The contest’s jury includes executives from the Cannes Film Festival, Maker Studios, Vimeo, Slamdance, The Streamy Awards and 3 Arts Entertainment.
ScreenCraft is accepting short film screenplays up to 35 pages in length. First place will win $1000 cash, a phone consultation with a literary manager at 3 Arts Entertainment and introductions to the entire jury and top agents.
Second place will win $500 and a phone consultation with the ScreenCraft creative team.
Short film screenwriting is a format quickly gaining popularity and legitimacy, especially with the growth of branded entertainment and online distribution channels.
