Casting: Jack Huston Flying Toward 'The Crow,' Blake Lively & Jason Clarke Join Marc Forster's ‘All I See Is You’ And More

The long developing “The Crow” reboot that no one really wants may have found a new lead after Luke Evans decided he had better things to do. “Boardwalk Empire” star Jack Huston is in early talks to play the goth title role. Corin Hardy (“The Woods“) is slated to direct if/when this thing actually gets moving. [Deadline]

Nick Nolte is bringing his growl to the Epix series “Graves,” a half hour comedy in which he’ll play a former President of the United States “who has an epiphany, realizing that some of his policies have brought damage to the country. He embarks on a quest to right the wrongs while his wife is pursuing a career in politics.” I dunno, sounds more like a fantasy to me. [Deadline]

Rosamund Pike is joining Christian Bale in “The Deep Blue Good-by.” James Mangold will direct the flick about “a self-described salvage consultant who recovers others’ property for a fee and along the way gets into trouble fighting bad guys and wooing women.” Dennis Lehane and Scott Frank have been working on the script, so this could be a nice little genre effort. [Variety]

Coach Taylor, aka Kyle Chandler, is joining Kenneth Lonergan‘s “Manchester-By-The-Sea” with Casey Affleck and Michelle Williams. The story “centers on a ne’er-do-well plumber (Affleck) in Boston who is forced to return home to the titular town after he learns his older brother (Chandler) has passed away. There, he finds himself thrust into caring for his brother’s 16-year-old son but finds himself crumbling due to a secret tragedy in his past.” Chandler will appear in the film’s many flashbacks. [THR]

Marc Forster is dusting himself off from “World War Z” with “All I See Is You.” Blake Lively and Jason Clarke will star in the “psychological drama that tells the story of a blind woman and her husband who upon restoration of her sight begins to discover previously unseen and disturbing details about themselves, their marriage and their lives.” [Deadline]
