While the internet has been collectively holding its breath for a teaser for “Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice” for months now (it was first rumored to appear in front of “The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies,” and then every Warner Bros. release since), the lid is still sealed on the movie. But Zack Snyder has given fans a taste of something new and unexpected to tide them over (pun intended).
The director has dropped the first look at Jason Momoa as Aquaman, with the words Unite The Seven blazed across the entire image. Of course, that refers to the Justice League team, who will collectively appear on screen in 2017, and then launch a bunch of solo movies, in sort of reverse Marvel model. But first will be ‘Batman v. Superman’ next year, which Aquaman is rumored to appear in, with the character getting his own solo movie in 2018.
Check it out below. And hey, maybe we’ll see that ‘Batman v. Superman’ teaser next week with “Focus“?
