Directed by Judd Apatow, the new comedy “Trainwreck” will premiere at SXSW next month for a “work in progress” screening, eight years after he screened a work in progress version of “Knocked Up” at the same festival.
The film was written by Amy Schumer, who also stars alongside Bill Hader. While plot details are being kept firmly under wraps, the film reportedly follows a woman with an aversion to monogamy trying to rebuild her messy life with a serious boyfriend, while simultaneously trying to balance her career and relationships with her father, sister and best friend.
The film also stars Vanessa Bayer and Brie Larson, and features a huge ensemble, including Lebron James, Colin Quinn, Ezra Miller, John Cena, Barkhad Abdi, Mike Birbiglia, Jon Glaser, Daniel Radcliffe, Marissa Tomei, Amar’e Stoudemire and more. Check out the trailer below:
